This program prepares students to clean, sterilize, and manage surgical instruments used in healthcare facilities. This behind-the-scenes role is critical to patient safety and operating room success. 

Admission Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Government-issued Photo ID
  • Proof of immunization (Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap)
  • Negative TB test within 12 months
  • Clear Background Check and Drug Screening (maybe required for externship if applicable)
  • CPR Certification

  • Eligibility to sit for the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Certified Registered Central Service Technician
